It seems to be the season of sequels in Mollywood! After the tremendous success of To Harihar Nagar, a sequel to In Harihar Nagar (1990), movie buffs will soon get the opportunity to see yet another sequel.

This time, the sequel will be that of mega-blockbuster Yodha (1992), directed by Santhosh Sivan with super star Mohanlal and Jagathy Sreekumar in pivotal roles and shot in Nepal.

According to sources, the sequel, titled Yodha 2, will start from where the prequel ended. Puneet Issar, who essayed the villain’s roles in the original, will be seen in the sequel also. If sources are to be believed, then Mohanlal has already allocated his dates for this movie.

Makers are expected to rope in Lakshmi Rai as the heroine in the place of Urvashi and Madhubala who were the heroines in Yodha. Harris Jayaraj would score the music for the sequel and Santhosh Sivan will wield the camera.
