Malayalam superstar Mohanlal may soon start an IPL team for Kerala. With the BCCI looking to include more teams into IPL, many heavyweights from Kerala have joined the fray to have a team for their home state.

It is believed that he is in talks with director Priyadarshan to work out the details. Both Priyadarshan and Mohanlal love cricket and are truly raring to have a team for Kerala.

Mohanlal revealed that as a youngster, he used to spend a lot of time watching cricket matches and was a player at school.

Mohanlal may soon approach the Kerala Cricket Association to know about the formalities and may also seek the help of Sashi Tharoor, MP from Thiruvananthapuram
