Mammootty’s ‘Mayabazaar’ will grace the theatres on the 2nd of October. The movie which is continuing with its shoot at Pollachi features Mammootty in the lead role while Tamil actress Sheela and Bollywood actress Tisca Chopra will appear in the female lead.

Directed by Thomas Sebastian, an associate to Sibi Malayail, ‘Mayabazaar’ will be a comedy based action movie. The producers are planning a wide release for the movie, following the release patterns of ‘AnnanThampi’ and ‘Parunthu’.

As per the latest reports Mohanlal’s Onam release will be an off beat movie ‘Aakashagopuram’ while his big budget movie ‘Kurukshetra’ will be shifted for  the Ramzan season , which arrives just a ten day after Onam.Majority of the shoot of Kurukshetra is  complete and the movie will need  another week of shoot at Kerala before calling the final pack up.
