Mammootty has reportedly agreed to act in the debut directorial venture of Sohanlal, who had been an associate to hit-maker director Shafi. (This of course is not the Sohanlal who had made his directorial debut a few months back with the offbeat ‘Orkkuka Vallappozhum’).

The film, details about which are yet to be finalized, will feature script by the Sachi-Sethu duo, who had earlier scripted the Shafi-directed blockbuster ‘Chocolate’. Sohanlal’s Mammootty-starrer will presumably be an entertainer, with due emphasis being given to key ingredients like sentiments, humour, romance et al.
