Hindi ‘Singam’ in July

MUMBAI: After taking audiences on a laughter ride with the hit series ‘Golmaal’, director Rohit Shetty is returning to action-thriller with the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster hit ‘Singam’.

The Suriya-starrer’s Hindi version too is named ‘Singham’ and has Ajay Devgn as a police officer along with southern star Kajal Aggarwal. The film will have Maharashtra as its backdrop.

The director has teamed up with composers Ajay-Atul, a regular in Marathi films. ‘Singham’ will hit the screens on July 22.
