Neen Yare

At the fag end of the year there is some respite for Kannada filmdom. A young director Sindesh has left strong hopes to become a highly talented technician in the coming years. In his debut ‘Neenyare’ he has given the gripping narration, fabulous cinematography, tolerable acting and very melodious songs. If the editing was a bit more crisp, this would have been better. The dialogues and art direction are the other two areas get noticed in ‘Neenyaare’.

Masth Maja Madi

Cinema should be a medium to entertain and to give relief from the hustle & bustle of life is what producer Soundarya Jagadish strongly believes and gives a wholesome family entertainer with ‘Masth Maja Madi’, a remake of ‘Dhamal’. What is interesting is that the selection of right artists, colorful canvas, fine piece of cinematography and peppy music has all come together in this film which is worth every penny that you pay to buy the ticket.

One of the strongest media of entertainment cinema is also a very responsible medium. Understanding this factor SV Productions in yet another lavish and well thought out film gives a message in their family entertainer that ‘Belief is more important than Love’. This is when the two neighbors’ are living in the society focuses ‘Sangama’. The responsibility shown and affection rendered here are the redeeming features of the film. This is a socially relevant film too. The feel good factor of the film is doing deeds by the protagonist. Some mellifluous and foot tapping songs, splendid photography lift the quality of the film.

Making this film is a great blunder indeed. Without studying the ability of director Srinivasaraju and not grooming the hero to suit the silver screen a hasty attempt has been made by producer Smt.Pushpa Byregowda. Debutant actor Chetan, son of the producer should have given a thought once again whether to appear on big screen or not. The advice is that it is not ripe time for him and he has no qualities except the ability to do action scenes.
