Sanjay Gadhvi, the director of films like Dhoom and Dhoom 2 is back with yet another fast-paced high on action drama titled Kidnap. Kidnap comprises of a very interesting and potent star cast, the experienced Sanjay Dutt, the new-bee Imran Khan and emerging actress Minissha Lamba. Does Kidnap actually succeed in matching the expectations of a Gadhvi’s film? Imran’s second movie and a negative role, can he carry it? And this time, how has Gadhvi transformed his lead stars in their looks is something to watch out for.

Shona Urvashi made her directorial debut in 2003 with Chupke Se. After a long hiatus she makes a comeback with Hollywood giant Warner Bros. Pictures sharing their banner along with PLA Entertainment Pvt. Ltd for her new flick “Saas Bahu Aur Sensex”. The movie has a diverse mix of young neophytes like Ankur Khanna, Tanushree Datta & Masumeh Makhija along with seasoned actors like Kirron Kher, Farooq Shaikh and Lillette Dubey amongst others. With an unusual and unique story, backdrop of Sensex running parallel with a love triangle of the young ones, novel treatment and low making cost like ‘Bheja Fry’ and ‘Mithya’, does ‘Saas Bahu Aur Sensex’ work?

Just a word of caution before you watch this film: Singh Is Kinng is not for the intellectuals or those pretending to be one. It’s not for the hard-nosed critics either.

“Dasavatharam” is a show of grandeur. Kamal makes it beyond the ordinary. His sheer audacity, magnificence and histrionics are simply spellbinding. And creativity is given new dimensions.
