It has never happened before in Indian cinema. 10 directors of Tamil cinema are coming together in one single film in front of the camera as actors!

It has a catchy title Mayandi Kudumbathur and is directed by Madhuravan, who did Pandi. Among the directors who are going to be actors are Tarun Gopi (Vihal’s Thimiru director), who will do the hero’s role.

The others in the cast are Ponvannan, Manivannan, Seeman, Ravi Mariya, Raj Kapoor, Jaganji, and three others. Anjusha, a Mallu girl from Thiruvananthapuram is the heroine of the film. Sabesh and Murali are the music directors of the film.

The film was launched on Friday morning at AVM studio and in the evening the unit met the press. Said Madhuravan: “It is a real life story told in a different way. The 10 characters in the film are the 10 directors who are acting in the film. It is a family drama told in a touching manner.”
